Teaching another to read is perhaps the greatest gift one can give. Educators and parent are often dismayed to discover that, despite their best intentions, their child or loved one continues to struggle with or, worse, hate reading. The reason for this is most often that he or she hasn't really learned to read.

Our new series of phonics readers teaches and practices the emerging reader in one sound at a time.  By learning this one sound thoroughly before going onto the next, the student gains certainty on sounding out any word containing that letter and will no longer have difficulty with it in future reading attempts. Ultimately, your student will have learned to read and, being competent with this skill, will more than likely become a life-long, avid reader.
